IM Ludus Elementum does have an instant messenging system similar to MSN or AIM, apart from the fact that it's only linked to the school so pupils can only talk to people inside the school. |

THE BALLROOM As in all old buildings there is a large ballroom. It is used mainly for school events, though some clibs are held here and meetings can be held. There is a grand piano in one corner and tall wide windows look out over the grounds. |

THE ARENA - 2 ViewingA huge dome split into two zones with barriers, so that four battles can take place at once. Students can practise their elemental skills against each other, but must be kitted out in the necessary armour. Inter-house fixtures also take place. Sub-boards: THE ERRAS PITCH, THE FLUROS PITCH, THE PREP ROOM |

THE LIBRARY Often new students are surprised by the popularity of the library. It has two large sections; one for silent study and one for casual study. Books can be borrowed but there are tables and armchairs where students can study at their leisure. Large windows look over the grounds. |

CAFFÉ VIDE The school prides itself on 'moving with the times' and in recent decades has added a small café area for students to meet for drinks. It is off to the side of the dinner hall and serves hot and cold drinks along with small snacks. |

THE LADIES' ROOM Obviously, the bathrooms. Strangely they seem to be the hub of cross-house communication, with girls in here all times of the day and night. Through the door on the left is the large shower and bath area which is busy in the morning and evening. |

THE MENS' ROOM - 1 ViewingLess popular than the girls' but still often busy. Baths and showers are off to the right. Large spaces and cabinets for personal belongings line one wall. |

CORRIDORS Students pour out into the corridor after lessons, and many chance meetings happen here. Lockers containing all the students' books line the walls of most, and bulletin boards with notices for events and clubs. |

THE ART ROOM A large, light room with many tables arranged seemingly randomly. A popular place for students to go during their free time. The magister doesn't mind students doing drawing or painting as long as they work responsibly. Art club is held here, as well as Textiles Club because all the materials are kept in the store cupboard. |

THE COMMON ROOM - 1 ViewingA place for students to hang out between lessons, in free periods, or when the weather is bad. There is a quiet section for work, and plenty of comfortable seats and coffee tables. Upstairs are the dorms. Sub-boards: DORMA QUIESCO, DORMA SOMNUS |

THE BEACH Since the school is in Cornwall, it's not surprising that it has a beach right on its doorstep. The beach is private access for school students only, with a long sandy stretch and rocks at either end. A popular spot in the summer. |
