“SHUTUP!” the scream was probably loud enough to wake the entire dorm, or at least those who weren’t awake yet. Oh well, though luck. The female let her head drop back to the pillow as the annoying alarm clock kept ringing. Honestly, why had she been so stupid so as to place the evil device on the other side of the room, where she couldn’t smash it properly as it deserved? Oh… right. That was why. Still, why the hell had she even bothered to set up her alarm clock? Really, she didn’t even need to wake up early.
But now there wasn’t really a point for staying in bed, as much as she would like that. The sunlight came in through her window, and lit up her room, making it impossible to go back to sleep. Or maybe she wasn’t that tired. Groaning, the female pushed herself out of bed and walked up to the offensive object, turning it off before starting the agonizing morning routine. What a nice way to start her day.
As usual, Carter picked an dark outfit and decided to let her hair down. After getting ready for the day, Carter pondered about what she could do. Well, she pondered about it after she walked out of the dorm rooms, so it probably means that for the moment she had decided to go for a walk. The girl walked for a while before hearing her stomach complaining about lack of food. Sighing, she figured she would have to stop and eat something before she passed out on the middle of campus, which wasn’t likely to happen. But it was better not to take any chances right?
And that was what drove her to Caffé Vide. To satisfy her addiction to coffee. Wait, that was not it. She was hungry… but she wanted coffee too. Coffee was one of Carter’s favorite things in the whole wide world. She worshiped it, and pretty much considered it a food group. She walked inside the small coffee shop and that divine scent filled her nostrils. Ah yes, she was in heaven. She walked up to the counter made her order happily and as her order came she beamed and thanked the clerk almost as if he had just donated her a kidney and saved her life or something. So she really liked coffee, sue her. When she finally took her time to check the place, she noted it was far more crowded than she had expected, so, she saw no other options as to leave. And so she did.
After wandering for a bit, she found herself on the one place that had seemed to call to her ever since she had arrive. It was a bit surprising, to choose the lake of all places, especially give she was a fire elementalist... Oh well, not like she cared much about it anyway. It wasn't long before she had seated herself on the most comfortable place she could find, and pulled out a book from her bag. Flipping it open, Carter started to read, occasionally sipping on her coffee.
