Kamuri entered the Great hall. She could see no one in sight, not even Hilen. Her hair was back in a braid. Her dress swirled around her as she stopped to take in the decorations. Well, somebody had been here at one point in time. She gave a semi-shrug and walked into the middle of the hall. She twisted around, light glancing off the sparkles on her dress. she smiled and went into the shadows. She leaned against a wall, closing her eyes. The cold rolling off the wall was pure bliss. She murmed a word, a bubble of the cool air forming around her. Aaah. That was better. She stood there, waiting for the shadows to bring the party to life.

He looked smooth, in his all white Tuxedo. Hilen was wearing it loosely though, the sleeves were left unbuttoned and so was his shirt. This was his fathers tux, he had let him borrow it. Hilen would prefer a black and white tux but this one was ok too. He was relieved that the ball was finally here, it was taking a while but finally it was here and they could get it over with. He looked around with his dark green eyes, before running his fingers through his brown hair. Dang..where is she? He thought to himself, he was thinking about his date. Kamuri, he didn't see her, the crowd was pretty big but it looked like it was just starting. Hilen wasn't really the one to dance, but guess he'd just mingle around until his date arrived. He leaned against the wall and looked up at the dance globe, or thats what his brother called it. He started to think of the night when he had met Kamuri, she had introduced him back to sports. He didn't want to play sports because his father had banned him from doing so; but his dad wasn't here and he didn't really care what his father had said anyway.
Shaking the thought away he looked back towards the dancing crowd and had happened to see someone coming out of the crowd. The person was familiar. "Kamuri.." He said as he stopped leaning on the wall and watched as she had leaned on the wall. She was a short distance away, but it was obvious she wasn't close enough to notice him. He dusted himself off and started to walk towards her. "Hey.." He said with a calmed smile left on his face. Hilen simply waited for her to say something.

She opened her eyes and looked up as someone spoke. It was Hilen. She smiled at him. Hey. What took you so long? The crowd was growing. She released the bubble of air she held. It swirled around for a moment before disappearing.Wanna dance? That was the whole reason for the ball, right? she didn't wait for him to answer, instead, she grabbed his hand and pulled him on to the floor. She swirled around before looking at him. Never had a date to a dance before. So i can't really dance. She laughed. Well, she could dance to slow songs, if anything. Other than that, it just looked like she was having a spasm.

Hilen smiled lightly before scratching the back of his head. He was sleeping and had almost forgot that the ball was today. "Sorry.." He said before taking a look around. It looked like everyone had their partners, well, not everyone, most people looked like they were waiting for someone and others just looked lonely. Hilen looked back at Kamuri, she had asked him if he wanted to dance, but before he could answer she had already dragged him to the dance floor. The song that was playing wasn't too slow, but it wasn't too fast. He sighed and started to move to beat, he didn't like to dance but he did dance every now and then. It seems that Kamuri didn't dance a lot either. Or so thats what she said. "Thats alright, just try to feel the beat...start with something small" He said, tapping his foot on the floor so that he could feel the rhythm before he started to move again.

She smiled and twirled around again. Her mind difted, she went into another world. Her body swayed a little, her face was held in a whimsical expression. She came back as the song ended She flashed a smile at Hilen. She wasn't really sure what to do or say, so she stood there. Another song started, this one was a little faster.

Hilen smiled, he was glad to see that she wasn't that bad at dancing. The next song was a bit to fast for him. But of course he didn't mind dancing. Hilen continued to move around with her. He wasn't quite sure how she would dance like to this type of music, but if he had to laugh, had try not to. He slipped his camera phone from his pocket and took a quick picture of her. He then looked to see how the picture looked and smiled once again. "Your pretty, ya know that.." He said looking up at her once again. Hilen wasn't shy at all so he just said whatever came to mind. Usually his adventuress nature would get him into a lot of trouble, but thats just how he is, he was always ready for danger. "Um..do you want some punch?" He asked looking towards her. Before looking at the snack table.

She smiled. Sure. Wonder how good it is.Coulnd't beat her mother's punch, that's for sure. She slipped over to the refreshment table and got herself some punch. She sipped it casually, the cool taste of it lingering on her tongue. It was...fizzy, to say the least. Her eyes skipped over the gathering massess in the hall.

Hilen smiled and walked her to the snack bar. At his hometown people would put alcohol inside the drinks, he was sure that no one would do that to this punch, besides, a lot of people here weren't all that mean. Well, the people that he has saw here so far. He picked up one of the plastic cups that sat beside the punch bowl, they were all stacked up and so it was obvious to see which ones were not used. But just in case, he looked inside the cup to make sure that it really wasn't used. He then poured himself some punch and started to drink it. At first he was expecting it to be just straight sweet, but it was fizzy, like it was the soda type of punch. He would of been the kind gentlemen his father taught him to be and poured Kamuri a drink but it seemed she had already got hers.
Hilen was still interested in getting to know her more so he tried to start a conversation. It might be a bad attempt but don't say he didn't try. "You look nice, by the way" He said, complimenting her on her clothes. He smiled lightly before grabbing a straw and offering it to her, grabbing his own straw and drinking his punch. "Oh..." He said, Hilen had almost forgotten about the flower he had gotten her. His dad had told him to always give a flower to his date. He wasn't sure why but he didn't mind giving her it anyway. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small pink flower tied to a bracelet. "This is for you.." He said handing it to her.

She smiled at him. Thanks. She accepted the bracelet and put it on, admiring it. Her eyes scanned over the crowd, only half-interested. She turned back to Hilen. So, where are you from? I'm from the states. She waited for him to speak as she sipped her fizzy punch. For once, some guy was actually paying attention to her. she didn't want it to end with him thinking she was a freak.
OOC: Sorry it took me so long to reply.. I sorta blanked out for a while.
