Yan was overjoyed to see the familiar ornate furniture in the Commons. The shelves filled with strange, earthenware and books in one corner, the over-cushioned armchairs and in the middle the gigantic L-shaped couch which had satin pillows arranged neatly on the sides. There was this light earthy smell of herbs, which were standing in different pots in all shapes and sizes here and there. It was like a Persian prince’s room with all the eye-catching exotic curtains that hung from the middle of ceiling and spread till the edges of the room and the walls were covered with pale beige simple patterned wallpaper that matched the curtains. She wondered where the rugs went for what was left there, exposed was a perfectly polished tiled marble floor. ‘Probably took them away because they always got dirty… and smelled.’ It was surprisingly bright though for the windows were long and there were huge glass doors that led towards the balcony where there sat dainty wooden stools and chairs.
Though her face was screwed up from the agonizing walk from the woods, she was really glad. ‘The cat…’ she suddenly remembered because all she thought of on the way back was to actually make it back. ‘Shoot… and bloody ball is tonight.’ She turned her head towards Taniqua and said, “Thank you for taking me all the way back. I’m sorry to have troubled you… you had plans and all.” She felt pretty bad because she grumbled almost all the way back, but it was actually all about the cat. “You can just leave me on the couch. I don’t want to get you into trouble or anything.” Students weren’t encouraged to bring other students from other dorms into their own dorms. It was one of the rules she remembered. She smiled sheepishly just to let Taniqua know that she’ll be fine. Or so she thought. She loosened her grip on Taniqua and with a lot of wincing and soft hissing, awkwardly limped towards the couch.

Taniqua couldn't help but to feel responsible for what happened to Yan. She knew she wasn't allowed inside the Terra dorms but all she wanted to do was help. Tani listened to what Yan had said, she had almost forgot that tonight was the night of the ball. Guess she wasn't going. She couldn't go now, she wanted to help Yan with her wound. If she was just to leave now then that would be plain rude. She gently laid her on the couch before standing up straight and looking around. She had a pretty nice place here, she tried to smile though she knew she couldn't, well, not at the moment anyway. "No, I should be sorry, I'm the one that got you in this..." She said, looking towards the floor as a invisible breeze of guilt brushed upon her. She looked back towards Yan and smiled lightly "I know i'm not allowed in here, but i just want to help you" She said as she started to look around.
"Do you have a first aid-kit in here?' She asked. She was quite sure that she did, most of the dorms had them but she wasn't sure where. Taniqua stood up straight and dusted her skirt off as she looked around, waiting to hear what she would say. They were friends now and when a friend was in dire need of help, she would be there to help out. Thats what friends are for right?

Siao Lang jumped down from one of the bookshelves and made her way towards Yan. Yan, stunned by the sudden appearance of the cat cried out, “Siao Siao!” The black cat stared at her and tried to jump onto her lap. Yan pushed her away and began scolding her in Chinese. She wondered how she’d gotten out from her room and was really tired from all the fuss. All of a sudden, she laughed. She laughed until her belly hurt and then placed Siao Lang onto her lap and started stroking her. The cat in reply, purred.
She then realized that she’d made her other friend worry. She’s not sure if she’s worried about what she was worrying about or was she worrying about making her angry when she was in the woods. Feeling selfish and really embarrassed, she turned to Taniqua, whom she, yet again forgot about after the cat appeared.
“Really, this has been the most exhausting day this week. I almost broke my ankle, I made my friend worry by worrying about this fella over here and I keep forgetting things,” she didn’t want to say too much yet. Actually, it was partly because she couldn’t go on anymore that day.
Yan let herself sink into the cushions she was leaning on. They were so soft and compressed at the right places. The cat meowed and looked at Taniqua. The stinging feeling was slowly fading, but she could still feel her veins pounding. Slowly, she closed her eyes just for a moment. But she couldn’t open them after that for she went into a deep slumber, slouching amongst the fluff of the cushions and covered by the warmth of the cat, who was also dozing comfortably.
“I’m so glad you’re here,” she mumbled and let out a sigh.

Taniqua walked towards the bathroom finally she had found it, looking inside the medicine cabinet she grabbed the small fist aid-kit. It wasn't that small, it was big enough to hold bandages inside of and hopefully some muscle rub. She walked out of the bathroom and started to walk towards her. Tani looked at the cat that sat on Yan's lap and smiled slightly. How cute the cat looked. She then opened the aid-kit and looked through it trying to find what she was looking for. She continued to listen to Yan, she found the bandages and sat them to the side before she started to look for the muscle rub. There was this strange silence that came amongst them. She looked up at Yan and listened to the last few words she had said and blushed lightly before looking away. She wasn't even sure if she was talking about the cat or if Yan was talking about her.
"Now, let me see that ankle.." She said, grabbing the muscle rub and opening up the top. "This will relax the muscle, it may get hot after awhile.." She said afterwards, she wanted Yan to know what it would do, she just didn't want to put it on her and not let her know.

Yan stirred. She stretched; both arms pulled as high as they could and then slumped onto the pillows again. It was rather hot, probably the heat from lying on the pillows and couch. Her T-shirt was a bit soaked at the back from sweating. My ankle… Doesn’t hurt as much… She saw a bottle of ointment on the foot stool nearby and then looked around. “Taniqua?” she whispered softly. The clock chimed seven times. The sound was rather off when it echoed.
Siao Lang leapt off Yan’s lap and stretched herself. The cat turned to her with her ‘I’m hungry’ look. “Hm…” was Yan’s reply. She didn’t want to move even when the cat rubbed herself pleadingly on her legs. Still, she had to change for catching a cold was the last thing she wanted. Sitting up, she turned her head from side to side. Her neck had gone stiff while sleeping in a sitting, or rather, slouching position. Well, it did feel comfortable at that time. Taniqua had probably gone back to her dorm. She clicked her tongue and got up, without even thinking or feeling the pain on her ankle. She then took one last look at the ointment before limping to her room with the cat following eagerly behind her.
(OOC: I think this is a good first [very long XP] meeting between these two. Maybe next time a Magister found out that both of them didn't stick with the curfew and got punishment. What do you think? PM a reply please. ^^)
